(a) Why don't students know their expected learning results?

     -In my opinion, students do not know their learning results because of two reasons; they don't feel that learning them is necessary and/or some teachers may not teach students what they need to know about the learning results.  I feel that students should know these Learning Results.  I also feel that the teachers of the school should be capable and act more responsible to teaching the students about the Learning Results.

(b) What solutions should our school use to motivate students to know the ESLRs? How many students in our school could you estimate to know the ESLRs after following each solution? 

     -The ESLRs in this school are: Proficient Learners, Responsible Citizens, Interactive Participants, Decisive Problem Solvers, and Effective Communicators.  Our school should probably influence or persuade the students to learn them by making it assignment or making it apart of their grade maybe an enormous amount of points.  I would assume the only people who has taken Mr. Webb's class would know the ESLRs because he has taught us them.  In addition to it being on the back of the door  he also created an assignment out of it on the computer.

(c) Why is it important for a school (or any organization) to write down the goals that they expect to achieve, before doing work toward that goal?

    - It is important for a school to write down the goals that they expect to achieve before doing work toward that goal because I feel that everyone should know them as a student.  It is very important to the School District and it should be important to us students as well.  I also feel it gives us motivation.  For instance, Responsible citizens, a responsible citizen is comprised of actions and attitudes associated with democratic governance and social participation. Civic responsibility can include participation in government, church, volunteers and memberships of voluntary associations. Actions of civic responsibility can be displayed in advocacy for various causes, such as political, economic, civil, environmental or quality of life issues.
